STEP 18 – LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL

LAVENDER is one of the Essential Oils most well-known for its soothing properties. It’s one of the most popular oils for sleep, stress, and skin issues.

LAVENDER Essential Oil has been used all over the world for centuries in beauty products, as it can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other blemishes. Its skin-soothing and cleansing properties are sure to be welcome when dealing with blemish flare-ups during Premenstrual Week.

The soothing nature of LAVENDER Essential Oil also applies to your emotions. Its light, powdery, floral aroma can help support your mood when you are dealing with feelings of sadness as well as the irritation and anger brought out by the ups and downs of fluctuating monthly hormone levels. It promotes relaxation and feelings of ease which may help you feel more grounded and balanced.

If you have difficulty sleeping, just diffuse LAVENDER Essential Oil or put a couple drops on your pillow. It helps create a positive sleeping environment so you can get peaceful, restful sleep.

LAVENDER Essential Oil can be used aromatically, topically, and internally. It’s a very gentle oil, which is helpful because some women experience more sensitive skin during certain weeks of their cycles. It is a perfect addition to relaxing bath oils or salts and massage oil or lotions.

PRACTICAL USES

• Add a few drops to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet at bedtime.

• Keep a bottle of Lavender on hand to soothe occasional skin irritations.

• Take internally to reduce anxious feelings.*
